Manuka Lodge defines a new style of accommodation in the Ohakune Ruapehu region.

Newly built in 2008 it provides a first-rate alternative to a hotel with many of the trappings of a luxury lodge.

Perfectly located at the southern end of the Tongariro National Park, Manuka Lodge offers a tranquil haven nestled at the end of a quite cul-du-sac only a 10 minute walk away from the shops, bars and eateries of the bustling Ohakune Township.

We are also a stunning twenty minute drive away from Turoa ski-field (which boasts one of the longest ski runs in NZ) and forty minutes from the start of the world famous unforgettably unique Tongariro Alpine Crossing. It is the perfect base for your stay in the Tongariro National Park, winter and summer.

We offer 4-star plus quality hotel style rooms, all with their own en-suite bathrooms, TV (freeview), mini fridge and tea and coffee making facilities.

We also offer a very comfortable guest lounge with sumptuous sofas, sky TV and a beautiful stone-surround log fire place.

A copious breakfast is included in the rate comprising: cereal, yoghurt and fruit to start, with a fully cooked breakfast to follow, and homemade bread/toast to cap it off/mop it up. Fresh locally roasted coffee too - A perfect start to a perfect day.

Really comfortable size room with ensuite. Tea & coffee making nice to have in room but only one chair. Would be nice to have 2 chairs so you can be in the privacy of your own room and not have one person needing to use the bed as a chair. .

Thanks alan, susie and flaps, we had a lovely weekend weekend staying at your lodge so much so we found ourselves coming down from the mountain early ..that spa pool is just too tempting! beautiful warm accommodation and a yummy breakfast each morning. Exactly what we needed for a weekend away from our busy lives!.
