Was good place to stay. Free pick up and friendly staff. Clean and tidy room. But did not change bed sheets for three day stay and seemed like not vacuumed while staying... . I really liked the place, it was clean and cozy and perfect for the two of us staying there; definiteley on the more pricey side of things for what it is - but then, we wouldn't expect anything else during the skiing season. The staff are very approachable & friendly, the room was warm & it felt like home..my family liked it & told me if we go back for holiday to ohakune to go skiing again, they'd like me to book again at mountain view motel.. Whilst the room was clean and had everything we needed, it was very small, dated and tired. At $164 for four people, i found it overpriced for what it was. I understand it's the "high season", but for me it just makes it harder to get my kids involved in the already expensive sport of skiing!. |
