Alpine beauty
Everyone at Skotel was friendly and helpful. The solitude and beauty of the area were as we had hoped. Dinner at the hotel was fair in quality and quite overpriced. I would stay there again because of the unique location.

Best Value Accomodation in Whakapapa Village
the General Manager there is an all star for being flexible and flexible. The backpackers room while basic was first rate value. There is a great kitchen and bathroom.

Awesome Customer Service!
The backpackers room was basic but solid value. The front desk manager was extremely helpful. He was all about making things work.

Backpacker area was good value for money - bathrooms private if down the corridor (even had a hairdryer). Own washbasin in room, kitchen facilities and warm and cosy room. Even suited us 60-somethings .staff lovely and responsive to travellers requests.
