The Turangi Trout Lodge offers an attractive "rustic" fishing lodge on the banks of the Tongariro River.
The guests have the best of both worlds - relax and enjoy the fishing action from a sunny upstairs deck overlooking the Major Jones Pool, or step into angling history and try your hand at catching a famous Tongariro rainbow trout, renowned for their fighting prowess.
After all this activity, Turangi Trout Lodge welcomes you home offering superbly appointed, fully serviced, self-catered accommodation for up to 5 people. Two bedrooms are downstairs and one of the two private bathrooms has a spa bath to soak and luxuriate in. The upstairs lounge is spacious and the sunny deck overlooking the Tongariro River, is a popular space for entertaining when the day is done.

There is an African them running through the Lodge and there is a full kitchen, plasma TV, sound system and wireless internet.

Very happy and will come back again
This lodge was everything we had hoped for. Well suited to the fly-fisho. Very cosy with all the features and comforts of home. Beautiful location and the fly-fishing guide was well worth the money spent. We will come back again, and again. The fruit and bottle of wine was a nice touch. Love it! David
