Luxury Homestay Accommodation
Richlyn Homestay offers accommodation in four beautiful guest rooms. The Romantic Tauhara Room with luxurious super-king double bed and ensuite bathroom. The Tongariro Room with king double bed, The Ruapehu Room with a queen double bed, and The Ngauruhoe Room with two single beds. A maximum of 2 rooms, one with ensuite, and one with private bathroom, will be let at any one time unless a group is booking in.
Enjoy the peaceful, quiet nights - no traffic noise, no street lights, just the stars and the moon!

Fabulous Hospitality
Enjoy complimentary evening wine and conversation in the sitting room after eating in town at one of the world class Taupo restaurants. Our breakfasts include homemade fresh fruit salad and healthy homemade bread that everyone loves. Cooked course includes 3 rashers of bacon, tomato, mushrooms, and eggs. There is no way you can be hungry after eating one of our breakfasts. |

Things to Do
You will find that there is an abundance of things to see and do without even leaving Richlyn. Nature and garden lovers will enjoy the native birdsong as they walk through the expansive gardens and property along the winding walkways. Golf clubs and balls are available for chipping and pitching practice on the grassy slopes amongst the trees. Perfect your toss at the Pétanque pitch or just sit in the sun enjoying the peace and quiet.
Richlyn is ten minutes from Lake Taupo for fishing, water sports and relaxation. It is only a short drive to the mighty Huka Falls, Aratiatia Rapids, Craters of the Moon and other geothermal wonders. |

Richlyn Country Homestay Taupo is the ideal base for exploring the Central North Island, Bay of Plenty and Hawkes Bay. Napier is only one and a half hours away, where there is wonderful wine tasting, coastal fishing and art deco architecture. Visit Waitomo caves famous for glow worms and black water rafting. Rotorua is one hour drive away, with geothermal wonders on the drive there and back. |
